If you are planning a trip you could post your itinerary or request a room here, broadcast to the group, and ask if members near your route could put you up for one night or several. If a hosting member is on your route or at your destination, make your inquiry directly to him/her.
George Lewter
Room wanted in Central Florida for 1 or 2 nights Jan 13th and/or 14th 2014. George Lewter (founder of the cone6pots network), his wife Elaine, and little dog Ginger, would love to meet and stay with another potter, rather than bedding down in a hotel. Couple will be travelling between Pensacola and Ft. Lauderdale, where they will winter over.
