Have a guest room and want to meet other ceramic artists? Put them up for a night or two and feed them breakfast for $15 per night. List your self as a host.
Traveling and wanting to spend a night or two with other ceramic artists? Contact the member(s) in the area you are visiting or passing through.
Use this area to discuss how to host visitors. Topics include things such as:
Setting up your policies and arranging visits to work to your benefit. At its simplest you want to enumerate what you're expecting of your guests: arrival hours, departure deadlines, whether or not they can "hang out" during the day, or if they should be away after breakfast and only return for the night after dinner time.
Other arrangements could be much more interactive, with your guest spending the day with you, with one or both of you demonstrating techniques or working together on some kind of project where the guest has expertise or the host needs extra hands.
How you structure the visit is completely open as long as you and your guest both understand what is to happen and agree before the visit is in progress.
