<p>You could hurry and do a 3 segment program. The first segment would be a "9999" ramp back to your top temp and then the other 2 segments you have mentioned. Your kiln should ramp back up to the top temp & then do the downward ramps. jhp</p>

<p>Stop the kiln. Reprogram quickly adding your new ramps/holds. Start the kiln. Skip ramps and holds already passed. -- How to do that depends on what controller you have, and if it allows you to manually skip segments. Watch out for adding more segments than the controller allows.</p>
