I just had a conversation with Mel Jacobson it was quite nice to talk to someone who does a lot of reduction in electric kilns. You mention a few years ago he was tinkering around I get the impression that he is still going strong.
Comparing notes from the Fallonator process and form his Jacobson’s process, we fine important differences, but we both get you to the same place, a true reduction firing in a Electric Kiln.
Let’s change the name of this thread from “Are you kidding” to “It’s about time”

ps I asked to be friends Nick, but have not heard back. I tried to apologize for my over the top response to you, I am trying to be as apologetic as I can.
Hey Terry,
That's great you talked with Mel. I'm sure he'd be great to have on board with your project. I know from all he's done through the years with Clayart he's a treasure trove of information. Just so there's no confusion, I didn't take any offense at all to anything you said. I see you as a pioneer and respect all your doing with your project. I guess I'm just not that familiar with the format of this Ning. I've been trying for the last few minutes to approve the friend frequest, but still can't figure the damn thing out.
