Judy, I led you down the wrong path on the rutile. So sorry. When I ordered my last batch of rutile, I ordered light. I compared that to what I had, and it was the dark! That was after mixing 5000 gram batch of blue rutile glaze.

It didn't look anything like my other batches.  I just ordered some dark and will test a small batch to see if I can get

the blue back.   My old bucket of Blue rutile had lost all color, and when I added the new to the old/ still no color.  I read where Tony Hansen had similar problems with loosing the color, and recommended adding a bit of cobalt. I am going to test with dark rutile first, but I'm sure it will have been from a different batch.

5 % rutile light, looks totally different on stoneware!
