Check this out- same glaze, different cooling cycle- Red from MC6 Waterfall Brown

I have been trying to get iron red out of my kiln ever since I replaced it. Kept trying to slow cool from 1800 F down to 1500 F- This is proving to me that the "sweet spot" is lower in temp than I've been going. Opening night

Friday night was opening night for the first real show I have been in. I entered a stone carving, and seven ceramic pieces, including several you have not seen. There were about 30 local artists participating, covering the 3D spectrum of art.
