Profile Information

What is your experience with ceramics in general. (Long answer encouraged)
I started at the 92nd Street Y because they sent me a brochure for the adult ed program. The level of artistry was truly inspiring. The cone 10 glazes were amazing and I was hooked. To learn more and to get more studio time, I also took classes in my neighbor at Nassau Community College where I had a great teacher, Mina. I then joined Art Haven in Port Washington as a member.

This year I moved to south east Florida and I needed to find a studio to work at. I saw MIY Studio's website and decided to look for a place in Hollywood. Now am am living at the beach and a ten minute drive from a great studio!
What is your current involvement with electric fired ceramics? (long answer encouraged)
I like runny glazes and I am experimenting with the studio glazes trying to get different effects.
All our content is viewable by the public. Why do you want to be a member, when you can already see everything as a non-member?
I want to become a member because I want to learn more about glazes, especially studio glazes. I would to ask questions of the other members about techniques used to get different effects. I would like feed back on my vessels, especially when things don't turn out as expected.

I also would like to say hello to people I know who are on your site.
