Profile Information

What is your experience with ceramics in general. (Long answer encouraged)
I have been a potter since 1969 . I have made gas fired reduction pottery both cone six and cone 10. Most of my glaze knowledge came from getting glaze recipes from fellow potters and make test of different variations. Just by doing bunches I of test I was able to gain the mist of glazes were about. The only glazes I have not had anything to do with is cone six electric glazes.
What is your current involvement with electric fired ceramics? (long answer encouraged)
As I said I have not done anything in cone six? I am now retired and can do anything I want without any pressure. So I feel free to make anything I want. I especially like the luscious new glaze and glaze overlapping can do. I also found I am doing several hours a day reading about glaze without any obligations to distract me.

A writer once said " I wound not mind going to hell if I could come back to tell people about it." At my age I value communication of what I have learned and to hear what others can share with me.
Where do you work on your ceramics projects?
