"Welcome to cone 6. It is a great site. If you look in the heading "Interest Groups" at the top of main, There is a single fire group. It may be a good place to help you make the switch. Happy firing"

Profile Information

What is your current involvement with electric fired ceramics?
I'm an Adult Cont. Ed Instructor - always looking for ways to make cone 6 look reduced!!! Wanting to make the jump over to single firing, but it's difficult in a School Studio, as I would need to add clay to the glazes and that creates a space issue since we share space with credit classes who do not have single firing in their cirriculum.
Where do you work on your ceramics projects?
School or college, home studio
What is your level of expertise with ceramics in general.

As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.

The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.
