Wow ..thanks for the link. This artist is wonderful! Very Klimt in idea and technique,G. Klimt also is one of my favorite Vienna Artists.
Your screen printing on clay is definitely cool! Makes me want to try this with students next year! I am looking forward to retiring in 4-5 years and having more than just summers to devote to my work....
Have a wonderful Sunday afternoon Pauline!
Love this Pauline !...when did you do this ?
Such a serene feel accomplished with abstract colors ?
OMG again, love your website, and if you could see a sketch I did and I will try to find it and attach here, I wanted to make clay bits to attach to and integrated with canvases that have been painted as sort of 3d items. One of the sketches of what I wanted to do shows a female in water--and this on your blog reminded me
Wow, nice combo, I love the combination of smooth and rough, also like matte and glossy and natural clay and glaze combinations. Never heard of these clays. I will look into them. I just ordered up a bunch of colored porcelain in 5lb tubs and am going to experiment with these, perhaps with jewelry items. I used to work with polymer clay and many of the techniques can be used or adapted with ceramic clay, more fun. I just got my own kiln and just test fired it, so now I need to get busy.
sorry ..forgot to add that I use a Clay called YOU BETCHA MIX./ PEACH STONEWARE..ROVINS CLAY.
The betcha mix is a porcelain like stoneware with no grog additions...very creamy and elastic.
Peach stoneware has a grog and fires cone 2-10
What I have enjoyed lately is the combination of them both..the elasticity and strength combination ! see attached pic

If you just want to spout off, it is best accomplished as a blog posting. If you want to get more guidance and ideas from other members, ask a question as a new discussion topic. In the upper right corner of the lists for both types of posting, you will find an "+Add " button. Clicking it will open an editor where you create your posting. 4/16/2014
