Yes!  Oxidation fired to cone 6 using Standard Clay #266

Hi Denice!  Thank you!  Yes it is similar to wax resist.  I apply the shellac to bone dry greenware.  After the shellac has dried, I take a damp sponge and wash away a few layers of the clay, which leaves the shellac portion raised.  Then bisque and glaze with a glaze that will highlight the raised surface areas.
