Greenware. I love texture! Slab work with a tri-foot. Approximately 8" tall. Will add photos of the finished piece someday!

This has been bisqued only, I worked in Hawaii for 7 months and have been caring for my mom since. I am hoping to glaze soon, my intent is to cover it in color, under glaze or glaze and wash it away and then put clear over it. I am a texture freak!

Greenware, leather hard is my favorite stage of pottery!  I sometimes wish it could just stay that way!! Nice pitcher, and I'm a "someday" person too!

I love this and your '2 pitchers' did you ever get a glaze you're happy with and finish them? would be nice to see the results

@Denice: I tried it after watching Sandy Pierantozzi's Utube video. Mine are a little different in that I push up in the area above the negative space to clearly define the space. I have made quite a few and I love making them. I can't wait to see yours.

Note added by George Lewter:  I just watched the tripod video, and think it's very worthwhile. You can watch it here at ceramic arts daily

Your tri-foot work is great, every time I see tri-foot work I think I should give it and try and then something else comes along and it gets put on the back burner.  You have inspired me to move it to the top of the list.  Denice

Thank You George, I am praying that all my reading, analyzing and testing will pay off! I am working up product for an August show.

This pitcher has great character. Good luck with having your glaze highlight the texture.
