Terra Sigillata can be too soft to be durable if you do not also add a flux - an example would be boric acid.

Daniel,
The glaze, which is high in iron, needs to be under the covering glaze.
"Reduced Iron" is black iron oxide, which is very inexpensive to purchase.  It will typically remain black, even without silicon carbide.

That is what I will be trying to do is raise the quality, to eventually move from doing craft en masse to a product with artistic or cultural intentions, before working in terra Siguillata.

But I was disappointed the softness of the final finish.  I like the durability of stoneware but I have to investigate more colors and patinas ....... ....... to paint.

In the bottom try recording some letters that cracking inside the glass, I'm trying to develop a system to print an engraving or screen printing on the bottom of the cups, so the first rather crude to print some letters attempt.

I think a cup is only a fine craftsmanship to which he could give a plus or value added, this bonus could be the drawing is made with enamel on the surface, or print an engraving or printing the bottom to give it that "value added," I do well and achieve that utopia could be a differential to raise the selling price and customer satisfaction to be a ceramic with "artistic" intentions.

This was my accidental version (oil spot) with reduction C7 gas oven, a high iron glaze was applied and a white top of the enamel,

I would get silicon carbide mesh # 100 to see if you can force even the reduction of iron.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

.....Thanks ..... Norm Stuart --- I'll make test tiles again in 15 days And I'll post if I achieve a look similar to the (green - gray - red) cup.

See you soon!

I believe Cone 10 "Oil Spot" glazes are sometimes just one layer.

I have read several different explanations. When the kiln is hotter than Cone 7, red iron oxide releases oxygen bubbles and reduces to black iron oxide. But this may not be the only mechanism. These glazes also often include (Spain White) called Whiting or Calcium Carbonate in English, which also releases gas (Carbon Dioxide) - the exact temperature depends on the glaze-chemistry.

Thanks for the Cooper PDF, which will help me learn more technical ceramic words in Spanish.

Cone 10 "Oil Spot" Recipes - Recetas Cono 10 "Oil Spot"

A Cone 10 "Oil Spot" example by John Britt  -- Un ejemplo de Cono 10 "Oil Spot" de ceramista John Britt

Detail of Oil spot glaze

He leído varias explicaciones diferentes.

A glaze with this look is often called "Oil Spot" in English.

Cone 6 "Oil Spot" glazes use two different glazes, one over the other, as you guessed. You first apply any glaze with a high iron content. Then cover it with this white "Oil Spot" layer. Gas released from the iron glaze causes it to bubble through the top glaze. Or perhaps thermal currents mix them.

This recipe in the photo for the top layer was added to our "Insight-Live Glaze Database" by Kathy Ransome.

I've seen some glazes with high levels of rutile when applied over red iron which have a spectacular visual effect both as an under-glaze and an over-glaze.

The third test, it could be to apply red iron oxide as an under-glaze then cover that with a glaze high in rutile and calcium carbonate.
