light Stormy blue over waxwing brown. The blue shrank as it dried where thick and crawled during the firing, but the golden brown underneath filled in nicely.

Yes, it is the Light Stormy Blue from the Zinc Semimatte/glossy base in MC6G over waxwing brown. My batch of waxwing brown is much darker than in the book, and I have had a lot of problems with it blistering close to the kiln walls. It does nice things under a number of other glazes, and behaves itself. The clay under it all is a very white stoneware - Laguna's B-Mix5
