Happy New Year Everyone

I'm trying a new project and I was wondering if anyone had any experience or advice. I want to make some seamless porcelain rings like these by Monika Skrzypkow. I don't want to copy her work I just want to figure out how to make the blanks and then I can add my own touches. I found a mold that is used with metal clay but am unsure if it will work for porcelain, the manufacture wasn't sure either.

If anyone can shed some light on this I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Depending on size -- finger rings? napkin rings? bracelets? larger? Throw tall cylinders. Profile into sections with a custom rib (old gift card , etc. cut to shape), but don't cut completely through until they are close to leather hard. You could do some exterior decoration before cutting them apart.

Extrude a tube and cut it up and smooth the edges.

Find a cylinder the size of the inside hole you want before shrinkage. Wrap carefully in paper so there are no wrinkles. Slab clay to proper thickness and cut strips at the proper width. Wrap, cut edges at a diagonal to fit together, score and attach. Remove from mold before they get too dry or the shrinkage will break them, but the paper will slide right off without causing distortion of the clay. Trim corners and shape at leather hard. Smooth at dry.

If you have a wheel, high level production would be better by George's suggestion.

Thanks for the replies, as I don't have a proper extruder I think I will try and throw a slim cylinder and go from there.
Thanks again.
